Hello friends;
It gives me immense pleasure to publish this post which is the second part of Go to the extra mile.
This post I have divided in four sections
  1. Congratulation
  2. Thank you
  3. Nomination
  4. Feed back
First of all, congratulation to all; who have successfully completed the course;
Second; congratulation to all who have enrolled for the course but couldn’t completed each and every assignment.
Third; congratulation to all those who have participated in the course but hardly made any progress.
IN my previous post; I appealed to all of you to comment on my post and I am more than happy to say that each one of you have responded my appeal in most positive manner and commented on my post; some of the comments are worth to remember; especially;
Miss Donna;
Yes, each and every comment, I appreciate all of you, because, each one of you were very much busy with Bloggin U and than also you people spared some time, read the post and commented on it.
So, thanks to all of you;
As I promised in my previous post, currently, I am studying various blogs(only my followers) and in my next post I will feature them here, so, as per my promise; I have done it and on 1st February I have added one more page on my blog “AWARD” and nominated 15 bloggers for “Very Inspiring blogger award”
Please do not forget to visit this page; who knows your or your dear friends may be there.
During last month, I visited various blogs, and commented on many blogs, after going through various blogs, I observed few common mistakes most of the bloggers are doing.
some of them are worth to mention;
This is one of the most serious mistake; I have found on many blogger’s blog; there is no widget about “follow my blog”;
Yes, it is very true, during my visit, I came across many many good blogs and some of them are too good; but, there were no “Follow blog” widgets;
No doubt, without that widget; there are many ways to subscribe the blog but believe me friends it is too laborious process to enter your email id and enter your URL and than you subscribe for the blog;
If you are one of them;
This is my solid suggestion to immediately install that widget and not only that; place it on most strategic location of your blog ;from where it can be visible; and do not forget to check mark the no. of followers button;
During last month, I just placed the widget on top of my footer and check mark the no. of followers and; my followers increased up to great extent;
The logic behind this;
When it is placed at very convenient place, where without searching it too much; people can find it easily; immediately they will subscribe to your blog and by adding the no. of followers, people can easily find that this blog is followed by many bloggers and it creates some psychological effect on their mind and they will immediately start to follow your blog.
Second biggest mistake I found;
Many bloggers are very very less responsive to their commentators, many a times, I experienced;
All the way, I have gone through someone’s blog, read their post; commented on it, and what I have found; sometimes my comment were waiting for moderation for two days.
Now, Imagine the scenario; in your blog’s “About” page out of 500 words written description you have written in very very sweet and flatter language about
  • How much you like to meet new friend;
  • How much you like to talk to new people;
  • How much you are friendly and interested to meet new people;
And someone all the way, came with good faith, to built up good relationship with you, to be your friend and waited for two days for moderation of his/her comment.
  • Don’t you feel you are neglected?
  • Don’t you feel it’s a kind of carelessness from the blogger’s end?;
If you are one of them and doing the same mistake; I am asking you……………
  • IS IT YOUR way to connect with like minded people?
  • Is it the way you treat someone who came to meet you all the way?
  • Is it the way you want to be friend with someone?
Honestly speaking;
Many a times, I surprised and shocked with your way of treatment, way of presenting yourself to out world people.
If you are one of them my simple word of advice to you;
  • Either change the writing of your “ABOUT” page;
  • Change the behaviors to treat your commentators;
Your readers are visiting your blog for reading your post, creative content, thought-provoking ideas, useful information, gaining some knowledge, exchanging some ideas, making new friends etc.
Not to see your theme;
Yes, when some one visit your blog for the first time they will notice it; pay a little bit attention on it, and entire process takes only few minutes; once after observing your theme; they will  immediately go to read your post…..
So, my friendly word of advice;
Instead of wasting too much time on changing the themes and setting widgets.
Please pay more and more attention on creating qualitative post, thought-provoking ideas, mind-boggling points, which compel them to visit more often on your blog;
Do you know how many times have I changed my theme in one year????
Only twice in the year;
And I am quiet comfortable with my present selection of theme (BOOK LITE) theme,
Because, for me this is most suitable theme;
  1. My readers base range from teenagers to elder age person; so, this theme offers me big and bold font; which is quiet reader-friendly;
  2. Second thing; all the widgets are on footer only so, it hardly distract the mind of readers,
  3. And third, I heavily relied upon my writing skill only, so, I don’t want to distract my readers attention on any other issues of theme like side widgets; So, all the widgets on footer are quiet comfortable for me.
So, instead of theme; pay as much attention on content as much possible…..
Your readers are not interested to know yesterday what you had on your lunch;
Or with whom you had  your lunch;
1 image of your lunch dish…………
1 image of restaurant………..
200 words written description…..
Is it your definition of your “quality post”?
Is it your definition of creative post, mind-boggling ideas?????????
If you are one of them and doing the same mistake………………
My friendly advice to you……………..
  • Change the setting of your blog and instead of public change it to you “private’ setting;So, pity soul like me never by intention or unknowingly stumbled upon your blog;
  • Improvise the standard of your post….
  1. Yes- I am more than happy to read few more fantastic feedback.
  2. No- I am not interested in your silly and stupid words of advice.

Go The Extra Mile:- IDIOMS
SIMPLE MEANING; Going above and beyond whatever is required for the task at hand.
Hi, friends; today, under the category of Idioms I am going to discuss one very interesting idiom.
“Go The Extra Mile”:
Simple meaning of this idioms is…
  1. When you have taken some task on hand,
  2. When you have decided to do something,
  3. When you badly desire to do something;
  • You have to work; extra hard,
  • You have to devote; more energy,
  • You have to do more planing; than and than only; you can accomplish the task which you have taken on hand.
Generally, I write very lengthy post, but today, I don’t want to write much lengthy post because, this post I would like to complete with all of you, my dear friends……...
Yes, I know all of you very well, my dear  followers cum friends,
  • All of you are very much talented people of this planet..
  • All of you are full with creativity of this universe,
  • All of you are powerhouse of energy, which enlighten others;
  • All of you are most sweet soul of soil, spreading smile everywhere;
And THIS IS THE RIGHT  and most appropriate  time for of all of us…….
Now, first of all; let me start from my own story……
As all of you know from my previous post about happy year, my new resolutions that; this is the beginning of 2015 and during this year; I would like to have few more qualitative, talented, like-minded friends……….
I knew it very well
  • Without moving extra mile,
  • Without doing  extra work,
  • Without proper commitment this task can not be completed,
So, what I did and doing to achieve my this goal.
As all of us know very well; at word press right now “Blogging U” course is going on and many of us; including me have taken part in it,
So, when this course begun, from very first day, I became very active and defined the goal to make maximum friends during this month only………..
What I started to do; to achieve this goal………
  • First of all; I determined that despite of being the part of this course, I will not actively involve with the assignments….So, I never participated on any assignment actively….
  • Second, I started to take keen interest on PASSIVE manner, what, I started to do is; everyday, I started to spend few hours in The Commons….
  • Third, During each assignment, I started to look and study the various bloggers….
  • Fourth, I started to visit various blogs; especially, created by new bloggers,
  • Fifth, I started to follow some of the bloggers, studied their “About” page with keen interest and whenever I find someone who share same passion, or value as mine, I just started to comment on their “About” page and simply requested them to visit my blog and if possible comment on my blog.
  • Sixth, Whenever, I find someone in the badly need of “Dream Reader” I became their “Dream Reader” and read their post and commented on it.
  • Seventh; whenever someone has asked for the feedback about their new post, theme, new “About” page, or overall review of the blog, and I find that no one has answered, I tried to do it( Frankly speaking, I am not master or expert of the subject, but, whatever came in my mind I wrote them in most polite and humble tone)
  • Eighth, I commented on many peoples’ blog and tried to encourage them, empower them and uplift their spirit.
This is the few things I have done to make my goal achievable…
This is what I mean by “Walking or going Extra Mile”
And over all result……….
Simply superb; Absolutely amazing, incredible interesting, worth to memorize….
first in quantitative terms which can me measured in figures……
First, I found numerous highly talented, creative, caring and sharing, friendly friends……….
Second, My followers base achieved superb height, within the span of few days it has gone from 13 to 39( and still it is growing up, I am expecting few more friends to join with me on this journey.)
Third, I received creative comments, nice complement, encouraging and inspirational words,love, affection,cheerful smile, well wishes from other bloggers..
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST THE MENTAL SATISFACTION, THE JOY, THE HAPPINESS, PURE PLEASURE; I have got from the entire experience is just unbelievable, superb and very much encouraging…………
I firmly believe that there are many things in life, which can not be measured in material terms…
So, now my point is that;
All of you have participated in this course;and still it is going on, so,”what extra mile you are walking”,what personally you sacrificed, what additional efforts are you putting to going through it?…..Successfully, Satisfactory….
This month, I visited many blogs (most of the blogs of my new & old followers) & found many new bloggers, they are “going extra mile” to make their blog more  meaningful, more reader- friendly, more appealing, more exiting, by the means of their post, with the usage of various widgets, by changing the themes,or by any means which ever they feel convenient doing it…
“Yes, my dear friends all of you are walking extra mile”………..
All of you, deserve due credit,
Keep it up!!!!!!!!!.
Don’t stop the momentum going on,
Don’t stop the creative flow going on your creative zone, remain in that zone as long as possible…
But one blog which specifically draw my attention…
The one blog, which is not walking extra mile but running extra mile…..
Yes, you heard it right RUNNING EXTRA MILE!!!!!!!!!!
Let me introduce this blog & blogger……
Blogger: Stephanie Tania;
Blog: Sugar & spice;
Why this blog qualified on my criteria of ” Going Extra Mile” criteria;
  • 1) Since last month I am following this blog and slowly but very steadily; I am becoming fan of this blog, but this month I found some amazing & interesting changes from the theme to presentation style.
  • 2) Second and most important criteria:

During this month only the blogger introduce few more recipes..

( I truly appreciate her efforts; because being a blogger, to publish one or two post in month, without using any multimedia is also difficult task for me and she introduce few more recipes…)

For the knowledge of readers…

For publishing one post about recipes you have to pass through various stages

(A) One has to go to the shopping; B) Then prepare it; C) Then take the pictures of it; D) Then Write it; E) Then publish it)

Just imagine how much hard work, efforts and energy needed to publish one single post & especially, when you are studying during day time and doing all these activities at night.

Yes, she is doing it in effortless manner and best part she is doing it with style and statement.

Come on friends…

Let us, cheer -up; for her hard work,

Let us,cheer-up; for her dedication and devotion…

Let us, cheer-up; for her persistent performance…

Let us, cheer up; for her devotion towards the thing which she likes most(following the true calling of heart)

Stephanie, please accept my heartfelt congratulation for your hard work,
Now, since, the title of this post is ” Go the Extra mile” and you have qualified for it…
Can you please do little favor to me by replying me in comment section…
Can you please reply me in below format….
1) The Goal(S):
Where you can write the basic goal(s) of your blog..
If you need more guidance, let me suggest you, if someone ask me “What is the goal of my blog?” So, I will reply like this, I do have many goals, first, to write the quotations, idioms and proverbs in more meaningful manner; second, to encourage some one, Third; to meet new and like minded people, Fourth) spread the smile on some one face, but out of all these goals, my major goal is to connect with like minded & friendly people like me who believes in high values of life, who believes in highest standard of morale, who believes in the integrity of personality…
Like wise, you can mention, what ever comes in your mind…
2) What you have sacrificed to achieve these goal(s)?
Where you can write about any financial or personal sacrifices..
If some one ask me the same question, I reply like this;
First) To achieve my goal to connect with like minded people; everyday I spend nearly one to two hours to read other bloggers “About” page, so, everyday, I sacrificed my two hours for this goal.If I earn x amount of money in one hour, so, everyday,it is sacrifice of my 2X amount of my earning.
Where you can write about the reward you are getting through this process..
If someone ask me the same question, I reply like this..By connecting myself with like minded people; I am getting pure pleasure of friendship,joy.happiness, love, affection.
Like wise, what ever comes in your mind you can write; there is no word limit, there is no space limit, you can write as much as you wish, So, I, as well as other bloggers get inspiration from you.
Last but not least,
To all the bloggers…
As all of you know blogging U is going on and all of us working hard, So, I request to each one of you; to write in comment section( in above mention format- The Goals,The sacrifices, The Reward); so, other bloggers get inspiration, encouragement from your comment, they feel they are not only, but there are many people working hard, it will boost up their confidence, it will boost up their morale, it will push them to work extra hard…
Don’t you think, it is noble work to spread smile on someone face?
Don’t you think, it is our way of giving back to society?
So,I specifically, request to all of you; to write as much as possible in comment section…
If someone; who is not participating in the “Blogging U’ they can write anything related to the subject of topic.
One more thing, currently, I am closely following many blogs, so, who knows, next month it is you or your blog publish here…

Happy New Year-My resolutions towards my followers cum friends

This post; I completely dedicate to my all followers cum friends….

First of all, “happy new year to all of you”.

“May God bring peace & prosperity, health & happiness, fame & fortune, success & sensation, achievement & attachment, victory & win, glory & grandeur throughout the year and throughout the lifetime to all of you and all your near & dear one”

Due to grace of GOD 2014 was wonderful year in terms of social relations.

During this year only; I have found some wonderful, amazing & incredible followers cum friends & I hope the same process will be continue throughout the year 2015.

So, to keep my all these amazing & wonderful followers cum friends happy throughout the year and if possible throughout the life, I have made below mention resolutions.

  • Whenever they publish any post; I will not press the “LIKE” button before reading twice.
  • Whenever they publish any post; I will not comment “Wow”, “Wonderful”, “Amazing”, “Great”, “Brilliant” button before reading it twice.
  • More often I will read their “About” page; so, I can remember very well, what they like, what they dislike, what they want to share, what they don’t want to share, what are their priorities & preferences.
  • Whenever they publish any post; I will not only just read for the sake of reading only; but I will take mental note of it and in future; whenever I will communicate with any of them, I will keep it in mind, so, consciously or unconsciously; I may not hurt their feelings or press panic button or sentimental issues, which may affect them badly.
  • We all live in different country, culture & community; so, whenever they publish something which may not be in align with my own culture or belief; I will forgive them with open heart; without having any feeling of bitterness in mind.
  • Many a times many of them publish the post which may not be related to my passion or area of interest; so, in that situation or circumstances to keep them happy; I will read it with utmost interest.
  • I will never ever ask any personal questions to any of them; but, if any of them wants to share it with me by their own consent or willingness; I will be more than happy to listen it and I will listen with full attention & complete presence of mind.
  • Whenever I read their post; I will try to provide them useful insight, fruitful feedback, helpful hints, trustworthy tips & solid suggestions in most polite & humble manner.
  • Whenever I will provide those helpful hints, fruitful feedback, trustworthy tips & solid suggestions; in no case; I will compel, pursue or force them to follow it completely or partially.
  • Whenever any of them approach me for any feedback; I will provide my feedback with my complete knowledge, information and insight without keeping any expectation of favor from them.
  • Many of my follower friends are quiet new to blogging, many of them are trying to publish their first full length post; so, in no case I will expect them to perform 100% from very first post.
  • Most of the time, I will ignore their spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes & wrong sentence structures.
  • Whenever they offer me any suggestions, provide me any feedback & if it is not personal; instead of considering it as a hate, jealousy or any other negative feeling; I will consider it as a “Constructive Criticism”.
  • Whenever I will publish any post; I will not compel or pursue them to read my post; to comment on it or to press the “LIKE” button or read it immediately.
  • I will always remember that “ No one is perfect in this world, including me & imperfection only lead us towards the perfection”
  • Last but not least………

In my all communication with them; I will always treat them as my extended family members only; not as my followers; so, keeping this view in mind; I will always try to maintain their dignity, their respect as I keep of my own family members.

Age is an issue of mind over matter.If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter. -Mark Twain

Age is an issue of mind over matter.If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter. -Mark Twain

What a wonderful, thoughtful, inspirational & yet very realistic quotation from one of the world’s most admired author!

Generally, as a human being we tend to see our age from biological point of view and from very childhood; biology has taught us that as we grow older, as we advanced further in our life; AGE, certainly starts to work on us.

There are numerous external and internal symptoms that clearly manifest that slowly but very steadily we are getting older;

Some of them are very much apparent; like physical disability to do hard work, loss of eye sight, various diseases;

And there are numerous mental symptoms like weaken memory, less sharpness and agility in mind and slow decision power are some of the symptoms that simply comes with growing age.

But, on above mention quotation the author has completely change the popular above mention scenario which we perceived through the generations.

Author has thrown light to the topic from very different perspective,

Till today, we are habituated to think that as and when we grow older; the efficiency, the productivity of our body diminish;

Upto an extent it is true; so, till today, to stop the aging process, to stop the inefficiency of our body, to stop the loss of productivity of our body; we pay as much attention as much possible on the physical aspect of aging process and to avoid aging, to postpone aging process, to dalay aging process;

We do all the necessary activities, we take all the necessary steps like regular exercise, healthy and hygienic food, regular life etc.; there is nothing wrong in it, it is absolutely fine, but this over simplification ignores one of the very vital aspect of age.

And that is MENTAL ASPECT!

There is nothing about; when you grow older; a bit cautious, a bit alert, a bit conservative approach, but over and above there is one more very vital, very significant aspect that is;

Why do not use our mind-every human being’s very powerful & potential property in the universe; to cope with our aging process, to deal with our aging process, to delay our aging process.

Now comes the billion dollar question……

Yes, it is absolutely possible!

“If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter”.

The author has explained it in a very simple yet in a very solid manner.

If you really interested to stop the aging process;

First of all,

Follow the golden rule,

Do not mind about your age- it seems very simple from superficial level but in reality it is quite difficult to follow; because from our childhood, society has imposed ( in many cases, we have imposed)  so many, so called rules on us,and over the years as we grow older and older; those rules became the our guiding angel; and one of the rules of society is;

As you grow older, as you become aged, you do not have to take less trodden paths, you do not have to take any adventurous trips, you do not have to take risks, you do not have to become as enthusiastic as child to learn new things in your life;

In short, as you grow older, as you become aged, you have to live your life in most safest and cautious manner, the reason-now you have become old, now you have become aged!

But in above mention quotations author breaks all above mention so called myth and advised in simple terms “ do not mind your age” do whatever you like at any age.

And it is true too!

Because, history is full with thousands of man & women, those who have done splendid work at the old age, reached to the new height of their personal life at old age.

Some of them are worth to mention;

  • Can you believe ?Henry Ford was 45 when he created his the revolutionary Model T car.
  • Isn’t it seems miracle? that Mr.Ray Kroc started McDonald’s at age 52 in 1954; and later on he grew it into the world’s biggest fast-food franchise.
  • What about Anna Mary Robertson Moses who is better known as Grandma Moses, began her prolific painting career at the age of 78.
  • It is well known fact that; Harlan David Sanders who is well known as Colonel Sanders started Kentucy Fried Chicken at the age of 65 years.
  • I hope most of the readers might be aware that famous novel BEN HUR written by Lew Wallace at the age of 53.
  • At the age of 70; Golda Meir became the 4th prime minister of Israel.
  • Nelson Mandela became president of South Africa at the age of 74.

Above mention all the examples clearly specify one thing;

Age is hardly any barrier for those who do want to do something in their life; above mention all the people are simple, ordinary folk like all of us but one thing that clearly distinguish them from others is they never allowed age as their barrier to accomplish their worthy task or goal.

The concluding part of entire discussion;

It is never too late for anything or to pursue your dreams….

So, dear friends find your true passion, no matter whatever your age is; do not listen to others; do not get easily influenced by others; do not wait for permission from someone else.

There is nothing wrong in having a little fear; critically examine your fear; find the way to overcome it and take that first and most important bold step toward your lifelong goal that you have conceived through the decades and till today delayed due to some internal or external pressures.

Today, is the best day, none of us know about tomorrow, so, isn’t it a right time to take that little step towards your dream?

Comment is the section; where you can share your dreams and tell us what the little action you have taken to make your dream true.

Have we ever thought about Opportunities with much more seriousness ?

If we thought about it with  much more seriousness,

We may find some interesting yet very incredible truth,

We may find some visible yet invisible kind of the harsh realities of life,

We may find some bitter truth,

  1. Most of the time, opportunity comes in the form of obstacles, and as a popular human tendency, we dislike anything, which comes in the form of obstacles, so most of the time, we miss the opportunity which comes in the form of obstacles.
  2. Most of the time, opportunity lying beneath our surface but, due to lack of our knowledge, due to our ignorance, due to heavily focused on some traditional ways and conventional means, we hardly pays the attention to the opportunity which is very much within our sphere, and we miss it.
  3. Most of the time, on primary observation, opportunity does not look like the opportunity, but at the same time, it seems as a ‘house of trouble’.
  4. Most of the time, opportunity caught us off guard, it means, either we are unprepared to tackle the opportunity or in most of the cases, we even does not recognize it as a opportunity.
  5. Most of the time, when enough time pass, and we look back, at that time we realize that we lost one of most wonderful, one of the most lucrative, one of the most prospective, one of the most rewarding opportunity we missed.
  6. Most of the time, when opportunity knocks at our door, either we say ‘it is too early’ or we say ‘ it is too late’.
  7. Most of the time, when opportunity pass from us, and some one benefited from it, we regret and start to blame our self about our lack of decision power, lack of courage, lack of not taking the action on appropriate time.

New year quotation-I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes…you’re Doing Something.― Neil Gaiman

Neil Richard MacKinnon Gaiman is an English author of short fiction, novels, comic books, graphic novels, audio theater and films. Wikipedia

What a wonderful quotation!

When you read the quotation first time, you may feel that it seems negative quotation, and If you don’t understand the meaning of it at a first hand, chances are there you may feel some what strange and surprising about the fact that someone is encouraging you to make more mistakes.

For the people like us, means, I am talking about most of us.

To make mistakes is just like committing the worst ever crime on the earth,

Why ?

Just see the popular perception prevailing in our society about commiting mistakes.

From childhood, we are taught that to make a mistake is the work of foolish people. Smart &  intelligent, people don’t make mistakes.

  • Making mistakes means you don’t know anything.
  • Making mistakes means you are not committed towards your work.
  • Making mistakes means your concentration or focus of the mind was not at the task on hand.
  • Making mistakes means you are irresponsible person.
  • Making mistakes means you have not planned your work.
  • Making mistakes means you have not done your homework.
  • Making mistakes means you are not carefull enough about the work.
  • Making mistakes means still you need to learn and relearn about the task.
  • Making mistakes means you have lost the right of one more try.

Each and every  instructions of our parents, relatives, friends and family members always insist one thing to us, that never ever make mistakes.

  • If you make mistakes, you will be considered as an idiot, who does not know anything.
  • If you commit mistakes, people will laugh at you, and you will become the object of mockery for many.
  • If you will mistakes, it will create many embarrassing moments for you and your family members,

Like these and many more wrong perception, which we learned from our childhood, and due to all of this, when we matured our whole mind set develops around this perception and principles only that, it is not wise to make mistakes.

What consequences it creates in our mature or adult life?

So, at the mature age of our life,

  • We become monotonous, for avoiding the mistakes we always take the tried and tested route.
  • We become machine, like machines we never tries to find out the another way of doing things.
  • We become like robots, we do only that what is told us to do by our master.

So, cumulative effect of all these,  we hardly take any new course of action because, that popular mind set which has now firmly planted in our mind becomes the most active and it reflects in our all the actions and reactions.

Avoid the mistakes at any cost and any how, becomes the major mantra of living life.

So, due to that, slowly and steadily our risk taking ability or that typical muscle, become smaller and smaller and at some specific point of time it completely vanishes.

Now, comes the beauty of the quotation,

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes…you’re Doing Something.― Neil Gaiman

Dear friends,

Till today or say till the end of the year 2013 you might have missed many opportunities just by not making mistake, you might have said ‘No’ to many prospective opportunities because you don’t want to make mistakes, You might have refuse many chances which you might have taken if you would not have fear of committing mistakes.

Any way, it is never too late, for anything good, and life is constant process of learn, unlearn and re-learn, so, now we have already entered into the new year with big bang, let us commit our self only that during this new year, I mean, in the year, 2014, let us wipe out the fear of making mistakes from our mind, let us start to do, what we would like to do, the result may be failure or success, but who cares about the result, our aim is not to achieve the result, our aim is to make more and more productive mistakes.

Special note : Remember the word ‘Productive’ mistakes.

So, dear friends, tell me frankly, in the year of 2013,  how many task, how many goals, how many objectives you abandoned, just due to avoiding the mistakes.

New Year Quotation-Character Is The Ability To Carry Out A Good Resolution Long After The Exitement Of The Moment Has Passed.- Cavett Robert

Dear Friends,

At last, the excitement, anxiety, enjoyment attached with new year has gone, because, today is 03/01/2014- Friday, it means, we have already pass the three days of new year, So, first of all, happy new year to all of you.

From bottom of my heart, I pray to God, that, whatever resolutions you have made for the new year can turn into reality, new year can bring health, happiness, peace, prosperity, power, money, love, longevity in your life.

All the sadness, setback, attached with the year 2013 can turn into success in new year 2014.

So, my all the best wishes along with humble pray to God, is absolutely with you, and no doubt, through out the year, I will wish same.

Now, let us come to the point, business as usual, as always let us start to go deep down the quotation and find out what is the clear cut message it spreads beneath the surface.

Character is the ability to carry out a good resolution long after the excitement of the moment has passed.- Cavett Robert

As usual, most of us, might have done something same, at the end of the year, partied hard, met few friends & family members, enjoyed, dance and dine like there is no tomorrow, and made some resolutions.

Am I write or wrong ?

Dear friends,

There is nothing wrong if you have done anything like this, on the contrary it is good to enjoy, it is good to have resolution, It is good to have resolutions.

But now comes some critical questions….

It may be possible that you might have made some resolutions, your resolution may be to reduce the extra kilo which have you have gained in past year, your resolution might be to uplift your self confidence, your resolution might be to move out of your comfort zone, your resolution might be to remove all the fear, which have hampered your growth, your resolution might be to be wipe out all the bed memories of past, your resolution might be to start all over again.

Any way, bottom line is that you made some resolutions for the new year, I mean, 2014.

So, first of all congratulation for making some resolutions, because, it simply reflects that, there is something in your life, which you need to change, which you need to remove, which you need to wipe out, which you need to improve, so, like any living individual, you are thrive for better, good, no argument about it.

Now comes critical question…

Is it suffice to made resolution?

If it is ‘Yes’, why ? If it is ‘No’ why?

Just assume for a while, you have made one resolution, that during this year, you will pay maximum attention towards your financial freedom ! It will be one of the major or one and only goal of your life for the new year.

Good, Congratulation, that you have made resolution.

Is it sufficient to made resolutions?

Simple, straight-forward, plain and very flat answer is ‘NO’. It is not at all sufficient to made resolutions until and unless, you are very much serious to achieve it, because, as per the quotations ‘Character is the ability to carry out a good resolution long after the excitement of the moment has passed’, So, now, all the excitement of the moment has passed and we are already in the third day of the new year, so, still, it is initial excitement which keeps you going on, but do you have ability to carry out that for the long time, I mean till the end of the year, so, when, year ends, with proud you can say to your self that look at the beginning of the year, 2013, I made this resolution and till at the end of the year, still, I do everyday, whatever is needed to do to achieve my that worthwhile goal, and no matter, how long it will take to achieve that goal, everyday, with same zeal, with same enthusiasm, with same hope, with same faith, I will do whatever needed to do in this regard.

If you have such temperament, if you have such attitude, If you have such faith in yourself then there is nothing wrong in making any resolution, and there are fair chances of being successful.

If you don’t have that ability to carry out for longer period of life, then as and when the excitement of moment will  pass, your resolution too will  pass, and after some time you may, even not remember that you have made some resolution with your self.

Anyway, once again, wish you all the best and have a happy new year….

Can I ask you one question?

Have you made any resolution for new year ? If yes, what plans and preparation you have made to complete that resolution?

I would be more than happy to read your resolutions, in written format in comment section, at least, it will remind you, as and when you see it somewhere.
